The service
Findable is a review-collection product run by an unincorporated business operating as Findable. It lets a business set up a page where customers answer a short set of questions, receive a draft review written from their answers, and choose whether to post it themselves.
The business has not been formally incorporated yet, and these terms will be replaced once it has been. By accessing or using Findable, you agree to use the service in accordance with these Terms.
Accounts
A business owner’s account is authenticated through Supabase, our authentication provider. The owner is responsible for keeping their sign-in details secure and for anything done through their account.
Business configuration
A business owner controls what their review page asks, how it is worded, which Google listing it points to, and other configuration available in the dashboard. The owner is responsible for making sure that configuration is accurate and appropriate for their own business — Findable does not review or approve question wording before it goes live.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Findable to:
- Collect or submit another identifiable person’s personal or sensitive information through a free-text answer without a proper basis for doing so
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or another business’s data
- Attempt to manipulate the review-drafting system into producing content unrelated to a genuine customer’s own input
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Draft reviews and posting to Google
The review text Findable generates is a draft based on a customer’s own answers — it is offered to the customer to read, edit if they wish, and post in their own words if they choose to. Neither the business nor Findable posts anything to Google on a customer’s behalf; posting, if it happens at all, is something the customer does themselves, through Google’s own interface.
Customers who give a low rating are asked what went wrong. A business may choose to offer those customers a way to send their feedback to the business privately; posting a review on Google remains available to every customer, and Findable never deletes, edits or hides a review a customer chooses to post. Nothing in Findable is a statement about, or affects, Google’s own policies for reviews on its platform, which the business remains responsible for understanding separately.
Deleting review data
A business owner can permanently delete an individual review submission, or all review data for their business, at any time through their dashboard. This is irreversible. It removes the record from Findable only — it has no effect on a review a customer has separately posted to Google, which Findable does not control.
Fees
The Growth plan is a monthly subscription for one business’s review page; where offered, Growth can instead be billed annually, in advance, for a year at a time. Its price, and the number of successful AI-assisted review drafts it includes each month, are shown on our Pricing page and in your dashboard before you subscribe, and the price and allowance that apply to your subscription are always shown in your dashboard. On annual billing the allowance still applies per month of the year. Only drafts that are successfully written count towards it; an attempt that fails does not. The allowance does not roll over to the next billing period.
If you need more than your allowance, you can ask us to raise it. Whether and by how much is agreed with you individually; a raise applies to that subscription from when we make it, and ends if the subscription ends. A Custom plan is arranged directly with us and does not have a fixed public price.
A founding price, where the Pricing page shows one, is available to a limited number of businesses, stated there. It applies to the number of billing periods stated there (for example the first year of monthly payments, or the first annual payment) of the subscription it was taken with, after which that subscription continues at the standard price. Starting checkout holds a place for a limited time; if payment is not completed in that time the place is released, and a place is kept for good once that subscription’s first payment is confirmed. If the subscription is cancelled, the founding price ends with it: a later subscription is at the standard price, and a business can use a founding place only once. It cannot be combined with a promo code.
Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay, our payment provider; Findable does not itself store your card or payment details. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is cancelled, and can be cancelled from your dashboard at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Where your dashboard offers a change of plan, its effect — including when it takes effect — is as shown there when you make it. A plan paid by UPI AutoPay or e-mandate cannot be changed in place — our payment provider does not allow it — and neither can a plan started with an offer; for those, cancel and choose the other plan once your current period ends, or contact us.
These Terms do not otherwise specify tax treatment, refund entitlement, or renewal mechanics beyond what is described above and shown in the dashboard; nothing here should be read as a promise about any of those beyond what you are actually shown when subscribing or managing a plan.
Free trial
Where offered, a business that has not been on a plan before can start one free trial. It lasts 7 calendar days from when it is started and includes up to 20 successful AI-assisted review drafts. Only drafts that are successfully written count towards that; an attempt that fails does not. It ends when either the 7 days pass or those drafts are used, whichever comes first. No card is asked for, nothing is charged, and the trial never turns into a paid subscription on its own.
Starting a trial requires a confirmed email address and a mobile number verified by a code we text to it. Each phone number can be used for one free trial only, ever — including across different accounts, and after an account or business is deleted. We keep a one-way, keyed fingerprint of the number for that purpose, not the number itself. If you start paying for a plan during a trial, the trial keeps running until that payment is confirmed, and then ends; unused trial days and drafts do not carry over. If the payment is not completed, the trial simply continues.
Changes to the service
Findable is an early-stage product. Features, including ones described here, may change, be added, or be removed as it develops, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Ownership
A business retains ownership of the content it configures — its questions, business details and branding. Customers retain their rights in the content they submit; by submitting it, a customer permits Findable and the relevant business to use that content as necessary to provide the service described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy — including generating and displaying a draft review from it. The Findable product itself — its software, design and the wording of the system that drafts reviews — remains the property of its operator.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
These Terms are early-stage product terms written to describe how the service actually works today. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer, and using them is not a substitute for your own legal advice if you need it.
Findable is provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted, an unincorporated business operating as Findable will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These Terms do not currently designate a governing law or exclusive jurisdiction. This section will be updated when Findable’s legal and jurisdictional position has been finalized.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product develops. The date at the top of this page reflects when the current wording took effect.
